If you just spawned into Bizarre Lineage, you’re probably staring at the map wondering, “Okay… what now?” Relax. The first 24 hours in this game are actually simple if you focus on the right things. This isn’t one of those guides that throws 50 mechanics at you at once. We’re locking in on what actually matters early game — Stands, leveling, awakening, and smart progression.
Let’s build your foundation properly.
Stands
Everything in Bizarre Lineage revolves around your Stand. If your Stand is weak, your grind feels slow. If your Stand is strong, the game opens up.
How to Get a Stand
You obtain Stands by using Stand Arrows.
Arrows drop from random meteors that fall from the sky. When you see one land, go check it immediately. The arrow will be on the ground. Pick it up, use it from your inventory, and boom — you roll a random Stand.
No guarantees. Pure RNG.
You might get:
- Anubis
- Killer Queen
- Red Hot Chili Peppers
- Or something else entirely
Every roll matters.
Checking Stand Stats (Do NOT Skip This)
The biggest mistake beginners make? They equip a Stand and start grinding without checking its stats.
Open your Stand info and look at:
- Strength
- Speed
- Specialty
- Personality (hover over it for passive perks)
Grades range from lower tiers up to S. Ideally, you want high ranks across the board. An S in Strength and A in Speed is already solid for early game.
Now here’s the interesting part.
The more different Stands you own, the more passive perks you unlock from them. Even if you don’t actively use a Stand, simply storing it can grant benefits.
But…
Stand storage is limited.
So don’t hoard garbage. Keep high-stat or high-perk Stands. Reroll weak ones when possible.
Early Stat Distribution – What Should You Upgrade?
Let’s keep it real.
Day one? You’re doing PvE. Grinding. Missions. Story.
So your stats should reflect survival and damage.
- Put points into Health so you don’t get folded.
- Invest the rest into abilities tied to your Stand.
You don’t need some hyper-optimized PvP build yet. That comes later.
Right now, you just need efficiency.
Fastest Way to Level in Bizarre Lineage
You have two solid options.
1. Story Quests (Most Fun Route)
After the tutorial, follow the storyline. It’s straightforward, gives good XP, and introduces you to core mechanics naturally.
If you enjoy progression with context, this is the way.
2. Mission Boards (Fastest XP)
If speed is your goal, mission boards are insane.
Press N to locate nearby mission areas. Go there, queue a task, complete it, turn it in. Repeat.
It’s simple.
It’s efficient.
It works.
Many players mix both methods — story for immersion, boards for burst leveling.
Your First Major Goal – Reach Level 50
Everything changes at Level 50.
Why?
Because that’s when Stand Awakening becomes accessible.
You’ll need to head to JoJo’s gym area and meditate. When you meditate, you enter a domain and face… yourself.
Yes. You fight your own Stand manifestation.
Win that fight and your power cap increases.
This is called uncapping.
Your Stand’s stats can now go higher. That means more damage, more scaling, more potential.
But here’s the catch — further awakenings require:
- Level 50
- 100 Conjuration
So don’t rush it at Level 20. Focus on grinding first.
Raids
During one of the early quests, you’ll meet Muhammad Avdol. This introduces raids.
Raids are extremely important.
Why?
They give Raid Tokens.
Raid Tokens let you purchase:
- Accessories
- Perks
- Power boosts
These become crucial once world events and PvP modes start feeling competitive.
Even if you’re not thinking about endgame yet, start collecting tokens early. Future you will be thankful.
Sub Abilities
A JoJo-inspired game wouldn’t feel right without extra styles.
There are currently four sub abilities:
- Ripple
- Vampire
- Cyborg (Half Human, Half Machine)
- Spin
Each requires different unlock conditions. For example, Vampire requires obtaining a Stone Mask from the ground first.
But listen carefully.
Do NOT prioritize these on your first day.
Get Level 50.
Awaken your Stand.
Stabilize your build.
Then branch into sub abilities.
Fighting Styles
Besides Stands and sub abilities, you can also learn:
- Kendo
- Boxing
- Karate
These add variety and depth, but again — they shine more once your base progression is solid.
Trying to juggle everything at once slows you down.
What You Should Actually Do in Your First 24 Hours
Let me simplify this so you don’t overthink it.
- Farm meteors and roll for a strong Stand
- Check stats carefully before committing
- Level through story + mission boards
- Reach Level 50
- Meditate and awaken your Stand
- Start collecting raid tokens
- Then explore sub abilities and fighting styles
That’s it.
Don’t get distracted by flashy mechanics too early.
Bizarre Lineage is an RPG at its core. If you rush everything, you’ll burn out. If you structure your progression, it feels rewarding.
Early game is about foundation.
Mid game is about specialization.
Late game is about dominance.
And remember — even if the servers feel easy now, once public lobbies are full, competition ramps up fast.
Build smart now so you don’t struggle later.
