A fresh Fisch update just dropped, and this one is more of a content expansion rather than just a rod or event. It introduces new quests, a new hunt mechanic, limited rewards, and a few quality-of-life additions.

If you log in without knowing what’s new, it can feel confusing because the game doesn’t really explain things clearly. So this guide walks you through everything in a simple, practical way.

Fisch Wyvern Hunt Update Guide – Oliver Quest, Sprout Quest

Here’s everything included in the update:

  • Oliver Quest (Lost Jungle story quest)
  • Sprout Quest (Tranquility Rod questline)
  • Wyvern Hunt event in the sky
  • New redeemable codes
  • Area Mastery added to a rod
  • Upcoming map expansion countdown

Let’s break each one down properly.

Oliver Quest – New Story Mission in Lost Jungle

This is one of the main highlights of the update.

Oliver is an NPC whose partners are missing somewhere inside the Lost Jungle caves. Your job is to help locate them.

How the Quest Works

The game gives only a vague hint:
You must search nearby caves in Lost Jungle.

That means:

  • You’ll be exploring cave areas
  • The quest focuses on discovery rather than fishing
  • Rewards are limited-time items

Unlike normal Fisch quests, this one is more exploration-based than grind-based.

Because it’s a new system, many players struggle finding Oliver at first since he isn’t placed in an obvious location.

Tip: Focus on cave entrances around the jungle edges, not the main open areas.

Sprout Quest – Tranquility Rod Unlock

Sprout the Caterpillar is another new NPC added in Lost Jungle.

This quest is much bigger than Oliver’s.

What Sprout Does

Sprout asks you to collect a large list of fish with specific mutations to form a “band.”

Once completed, you unlock:

  • The Tranquility Rod
  • Rhythm mini-game fishing mechanic

This quest is considered one of the longest in Fisch due to:

  • Multiple rare fish
  • Mutation requirements
  • Traveling across many regions

It’s more of an endgame challenge rather than something beginners can complete quickly.

Wyvern Hunt – New Sky Event

This is a completely new type of catch mechanic.

Instead of appearing in water, Wyverns spawn in the sky.

How the Hunt Works

Wyverns appear in clouds and must be detected using:

Height Disturbance

This means:

  • You need to look upward
  • Watch for visual indicators in the sky
  • Move to the disturbance location to catch them

It’s a unique mechanic because it changes how players search for targets.

Unlike Shark Hunts, this one focuses on vertical positioning rather than map signals.

New Codes – Limited Time Rewards

Several redeem codes were released with this update.

You should redeem them quickly because they expire soon.

Active Codes

JUNGLEEXPANSION
JS
BIGGLE

These provide free in-game rewards such as currency or boosts.

Most expire around early March, so don’t delay.

Rod Area Mastery Update

One existing rod received a new feature:

Area Mastery.

This means:

  • You can now progress mastery levels for that rod
  • It becomes stronger over time
  • Performance improves in specific fishing zones

This system encourages long-term usage instead of constantly switching rods.

Update Countdown – Upcoming Map Expansion

The game also added a visible countdown for the next content release.

Two new areas are confirmed:

  • Toxic Grove
  • Living Garden

These are expected to introduce:

  • New fish species
  • New rods
  • Possibly new mechanics

This update essentially acts as a bridge leading into that larger expansion.

Finding the New NPCs – Why Players Get Confused

One of the biggest complaints about this update is NPC placement.

They are not positioned in obvious spots.

Most players struggle because:

  • They search open jungle areas
  • They ignore caves and hidden paths
  • The quest hints are vague

Best strategy is to explore:

  • Cave entrances
  • Elevated jungle paths
  • Edges of the Lost Jungle map

The NPCs are intentionally placed in less visible locations to encourage exploration.

What This Update Focuses On

Unlike combat or grinding updates, this one focuses on three themes:

Exploration
Collection challenges
Event mechanics

It’s designed to slow players down and make them interact with the world rather than just farm fish.

Should You Prioritize This Update?

If you like:

Story quests → Do Oliver first
Endgame challenges → Focus on Sprout quest
Events → Try Wyvern Hunt

For most players, the recommended order is:

Redeem codes
Find Sprout and start the long quest early
Explore for Oliver quest casually
Participate in Wyvern hunts when they spawn
