When you first join Solo Hunters, the game throws you into a cinematic and forces a fight with a statue enemy.
Do not worry about winning.
You’re supposed to die.
Once your HP drops to around 50%, the game triggers another cinematic and sends you into the actual world. After that:
- Complete 3 starter quests
- These quests are mandatory
- You cannot play with friends until they’re done
Do these immediately. No shortcuts here.
Classes
At the moment, classes are limited and honestly not very impactful early on. Still, you should reroll if you can.
- Open Stat Points
- Click Reroll Class
- Use free rerolls from codes
Right now, classes don’t dramatically change gameplay. Pick the best one you can get and move on. This system will matter more later, but early game progression barely depends on it.
Fastest Way to Progress
Solo Hunters progression is extremely simple once you accept it:
Quests → Dungeons → Quests → Dungeons
That’s it.
- Quests give XP, gold, and gems
- Dungeons give gear, power cells, and weapons
- As your power increases, the game automatically pushes you toward better quests
If you ever feel stuck, it usually means you’re ignoring one of the two.
Play With Friends If You Can
- Kills are shared
- Quest progress is shared
- You gain 10% bonus XP per friend
- Friends don’t even need to be in the same dungeon, just the same server
Solo play is fine, but group play is noticeably faster.
Best Early Combat Choice – Use Swords
Magic looks cool, but early game magic is honestly bad.
Why?
- Skills are extremely expensive to unlock
- You gain very few mastery points per level
- Cooldowns are long
- Damage scaling is slow early
Unless your magic has M1 attacks, swords are the better choice.
With swords:
- You can one-shot normal mobs
- Dungeon clearing is much faster
- Boss damage is more consistent
Magic becomes useful later. Early on, it slows you down.
Stat Point Distribution for Beginners
Do not overthink stats.
Recommended Early Build
- 10–20 Defense
- Everything else into Strength
If you start feeling squishy:
- Add a few more points into Defense
- Do not fully respec unless necessary
Strength scales extremely well early and directly increases your power.
Dungeon Loot
This is one of the most important things to understand.
All weapons and gear scale based on your stats, not dungeon rank.
That means:
- A dagger from the weakest dungeon can be just as strong as one from an A-rank dungeon
- The difference is mostly visuals, not base performance
So yes, early weapons remain useful for the entire game.
Never Delete Duplicate Weapons (Fuse Them)
If you get three of the same weapon:
- Do not delete them
- Fuse them into a Shiny version
Why Shiny Weapons Matter
- Much higher stats
- Massive power increase
- Worth upgrading
How to fuse:
- Click the weapon
- Select Fuse
- Choose duplicates
- Confirm
Always fuse weapons before considering upgrades.
How to Upgrade Weapons (Power Cells Explained)
Weapon upgrades are done with Power Cells.
- Obtained from dungeons
- Drop very frequently
- Also found during Power Break events
You will never be short on power cells early.
Upgrade Advice
- Focus upgrades on Legendary and Mythic weapons
- Do not waste gold on low-tier junk
- Gold cost ramps up fast, so be selective
Red Dungeons – Risk vs Reward
Red dungeons:
- Give better rewards
- Only allow one life
They’re worth farming if you can clear them safely. If you’re dying often, stick to normal dungeons until your power stabilizes.
How to Get Free Gems (Fast)
You cannot buy gems with Robux right now, so this matters.
Best Gem Sources
- Quests (10–20 gems each)
- Daily quests
- Dungeon progression
This is currently the fastest and only reliable method.
Summon Powers
Summon Powers look tempting, but early investment is inefficient.
Why?
- Skills cost absurd amounts of mastery points
- You unlock very few abilities
- Damage payoff is low early
Stick to swords early. Come back to magic later when you can actually afford skill upgrades.
Power Break Events
Those purple star-looking portals on the map trigger Power Breaks.
How they work:
- Enter the portal
- Kill waves of enemies
- Interact with the portal again
- Receive rewards
Rewards include:
- Enchant scrolls
- Power cells
- Gold
These are much faster with friends.
Enchanting
Enchanting is done at a table, not an NPC.
- Go to the yellow-marked area
- Interact with the enchanting table
- Insert weapon
- Use scrolls
- Roll and confirm
Enchanting is RNG. Expect bad rolls early. That’s normal.
Rings, Gear, and Magic Can Also Be Fused
Just like weapons:
- Three identical rings = shiny ring
- Three identical magics = shiny magic
- Same for armor
Shiny versions always have better stats. Never delete duplicates blindly.
