The Winter update completely changes how you grind, trade, and gear up in Jujutsu Infinite. This is not just a cosmetic event — it introduces a full seasonal economy, a new boss loop, and some of the strongest winter-themed equipment the game has seen so far.
Here is everything you need to know to start farming efficiently.
Winter Event Progress System
On the right side of your screen you will see a snowflake icon labeled Winter 2026.
This tracks your event progress and your Frost Essence farming.
Frost Essence is the core event currency and is used to buy every winter-exclusive item.
Where to Spend Frost Essence
Near the central area you will find a new Black Market Winter NPC.
This is the vendor that exchanges Frost Essence for winter gear.
Available winter items include:
Frost Leggings
Frost Coat
Frost Halo
Twin Cryoblasters (gun-type weapon)
Ring of Frost
These items are event-exclusive and are not obtainable outside the winter season.
How to Get Frost Essence
Enemies can spawn with a Frosted status effect.
Killing enemies that are Frosted makes them drop Frost Essence.
Drop rates:
Curses – 10% chance, drop 1 Frost Essence
Curse Users – 10% chance, drop 2 Frost Essence
Bosses – 50% chance, drop 5 Frost Essence
World Bosses – 100% chance, drop 10 Frost Essence
Exchange events now also drop Frost Essence, and the better your performance, the more you earn.
AFK Mode Frost Farming
AFK Mode now drops Frost Essence.
This method bypasses the daily Frost limit, which means you can continue farming even after reaching your normal daily cap. This makes AFK Mode one of the best passive ways to stack event currency.
New Hourly Winter Boss
A new Winter Event Boss spawns every hour.
When it is time to spawn, a special portal appears, similar to the Exchange Event portal. Enter the portal to fight the boss.
The Winter Boss has a 100% Frost Essence drop chance and is the fastest active way to farm large amounts of Frost Essence in short sessions.
The Winter 2026 update introduces limited-time gear that will likely become trade and PvP meta staples after the event ends. Farming Frost Essence now not only boosts your current build but also future-proofs your account for upcoming balance cycles.
