If you have been waiting for a real grind-worthy spec in Sakura Stand, the Kaneki Centipede spec finally gives you that anime villain power fantasy. It is not something you get from a lucky spin. This one is fully quest-based, and the process actually feels like a proper storyline instead of random checklist grinding.
Here is how you can unlock it from start to finish without getting lost.
Where to Start the Quest
Your journey begins near the side park area, close to the waterfall. Look for the Best Friend NPC. When you talk to him, he will start a questline that eventually leads to the Kaneki Centipede spec. Once this questline starts, every step you complete pushes you closer to unlocking the spec.
Open 20 Boxes
Your next task is simple but time-consuming.
You need to open 20 boxes anywhere in the world. It does not matter what kind of boxes they are. Just keep opening until your quest tracker confirms completion.
This step is basically there to make sure you spend some time exploring and looting instead of rushing the spec.
Bandit Hunting Part One
After opening your boxes, return to the Best Friend NPC.
He will ask you to kill three bandits. Once you finish that, come back to him again. He will then upgrade your mission and ask you to defeat 15 bandits.
This is where you should pick a fast-farming route and knock it out quickly.
Meet Rice at the Cafe
Once your bandit tasks are done, head over to the cafe area and talk to Rice.
She will give you a collection quest that sends you around the map. You need to gather four items:
Audi K Chain
Dubai Chocolate
White Headphones
Match
These items are scattered around the world, so be ready to do a bit of traveling.
Vampire Trial
After collecting those items, Rice will ask you to complete a vampire trial.
First, you must activate Vampireism.
Then talk to PP1 while Vampireism is active.
While still under Vampireism, take damage two times.
After that, you must die to Wonder of You’s skill seven times.
This part feels weird, but it is basically a test of endurance and persistence.
Final Exam
Once you complete the vampire trial, return to Rice again. You will be teleported into a final exam area.
This exam tests general in-game knowledge, including things like flags, sports, food, security topics, and more. Just take your time and answer carefully.
When you pass the exam, you can finally claim the Kaneki Centipede spec.
