This Christmas update completely shook Jujutsu Shenanigans in the best way possible. What looked like a small holiday patch turned into one of the biggest gameplay expansions the game has ever received. New awakenings, insane Mechamaru upgrades, huge system improvements, and dozens of balance changes all landed at once.
Jujutsu Shenanigans Christmas Update – Mechamaru Overhaul, Logs
From the moment you load in, you can feel how much work went into this update.
New Christmas Map and Holiday Sale
The entire map is now covered in snow, lights, and festive decorations. It actually runs smoother too, which makes a big difference in busy lobbies.
There is also a limited-time sale going on right now where game passes and emotes are discounted. If you have ever thought about picking up cosmetics or quality-of-life upgrades, this is the best time to do it.
Head of the Hei Gets a Full Awakening Kit
Head of the Hei finally received a full awakening, and it is wild.
The new awakening, Vengeance, completely changes how this character feels. Instead of being a standard close-range fighter, Hei turns into a fast, aggressive powerhouse built around pressure and counters.
The new skills include:
- Top Speed, which launches you forward so fast it almost feels like teleporting. You can even use it to fly across areas.
- Flash Freezing, which creates chain-style shard attacks that stack damage in a way that melts opponents if they get caught.
- Time Cell Moon Palace, a full domain-style ability that rains shards down in a terrifying area of control.
- A new special move, Acceleration, that keeps the pressure constant.
- A proper bleed-out finisher that finally gives Hei a clean end to fights.
Playing Hei now feels like controlling a living missile.
Mechamaru Awakening Turns You Into a Boss Fight
Mechamaru’s new awakening might be the most fun addition in the entire update.
The new awakening, Absolute, turns you into a massive mechanical monster that towers over other players. You literally feel like a final boss walking into a lobby.
His new abilities are ridiculous:
- Miracle Cannon fires long-range blasts that can wipe out groups if they line up.
- Pigeon Viola hits in wide arcs and can catch multiple enemies.
- Puppet Barrage can now be used while casting other skills, which means your pressure never stops.
Once awakened, Mechamaru becomes a walking siege engine, and every fight feels like a highlight clip.
Custom Servers Finally Got the Upgrade They Needed
Custom servers now feel modern instead of outdated.
You can rename servers without restarting, add icons, download all active servers at once, and even filter regions through the search bar. If you like practicing combos, hosting tournaments, or testing builds, this change alone is a massive quality-of-life win.
Skill Builder, Logic Blocks, and Items Expanded
The skill builder received deeper customization, including branching paths, new blocks, and better saving performance. Logic blocks now run smoother and are more flexible, which opens the door for more creative builds.
Two new items were also added, including the Bowling Ball, which is surprisingly fun to use and hits harder than it looks.
Item spawns are now more consistent, throwable items activate faster, and Playful Cloud finally feels polished.
Major Balance and Character Tweaks
Almost every major character received buffs, nerfs, or full reworks. This includes changes to:
- Sukuna’s Vessel form
- Perfection, Defense Attorney, Cursed Partners, Restless Gambler, and more
- New variants, better ragdolls, cleaner finishers, improved domains, and smoother animations
The game honestly feels more balanced and responsive than it has in a long time.
New Quests, Emotes, and Achievements
Over twenty new emotes were added, along with daily and weekly quests, new achievements, and better notifications. Progression finally feels rewarding again instead of repetitive.
This update didn’t just add content. It fixed systems, refreshed combat, and made multiple characters feel brand new. It brought life back into lobbies, gave players reasons to experiment again, and made the game feel like it is actively evolving.
If you have not logged in yet, you are missing out on one of the strongest updates Jujutsu Shenanigans has ever dropped.
