Secret bosses are one of the most important progression systems in Anime Celestial X. They drop unique artifacts and accessories that directly increase your damage and unlock powerful upgrades later in the game. Many players miss these bosses simply because their locations are hidden or unintuitive. This guide explains every secret boss location clearly so you can find and defeat them without confusion.
All locations listed below can be reached on foot. Flying mounts only make the process faster but are not required.
What You Get From Secret Bosses
Each secret boss drops two important items:
- Artifact – Used for incubator-style upgrades that boost a character’s damage by a large percentage while reducing ultimate attack cooldown or cost.
- Accessory (Bracelet) – Equippable item that further enhances your fighters.
These drops are essential for late-game damage scaling, so farming secret bosses is highly recommended.
Secret Boss 1 – Broly (First Island)
Broly is the first secret boss most players encounter.
- Location: First map, near the Freezer area
- How to reach:
Look for a small parkour path near the side of the map. Simply jump across and use dash if needed. No special movement is required.
Broly is relatively easy to defeat and is a great introduction to secret boss farming. He drops an artifact and a bracelet.
Secret Boss 2 – Madara (Shinobi Island)
Madara is found on the second island.
- Location: Shinobi Island, near the Pen area
- How to reach:
From the lower area, jump upward using double jump. The path is straightforward and clearly visible once you look up.
Madara drops his own artifact and accessory. This fight is still manageable for mid-game players.
Secret Boss 3 – Meruem (Hunter Island)
This is the most commonly missed secret boss due to his hidden location.
- Location: Hunter Island, center of the map
- How to reach:
Go to the large waterfall in the middle of the map. Move toward the rock wall next to it. There is an invisible platform inside the rock.
Double jump and dash forward through the wall to reach the hidden area.
Meruem has around 10 million HP and drops both an artifact and an accessory. Despite the hidden entrance, the fight itself is not overly difficult.
Secret Boss 4 – Crocodile (Final Island)
Crocodile is the strongest and most rewarding secret boss.
- Location: Final Island
- Current official spawn: On top of a tall tower near the center of the map
- Alternative spawn (older versions): Behind a house near the entrance
How to reach the tower:
- Use the wooden stakes and platforms around the tower
- Double jump carefully from platform to platform
- Mobile players need extra precision, but it is still possible without mounts
Crocodile gives the highest Yen reward and strong drops, but he is also the hardest boss among the secrets.
Important Notes About Secret Bosses
- All secret boss quests can be accepted from Rimin, who appears on every island
- Boss locations may shift slightly between updates, but the ones listed above are the current known spawns
- If Crocodile is not on the tower, check behind nearby structures
- These bosses are meant to be farmed repeatedly for optimal upgrades
Why You Should Farm Secret Bosses Early
Artifacts from secret bosses unlock massive damage bonuses later. Players who skip secret bosses will hit a damage wall much faster than those who farm them consistently. Even if you cannot fully use the artifacts yet, collecting them early saves a lot of time.
