Welcome to the Fairy Tail Re Beginner Guide, based on the official community tutorial and in-game experience. This guide explains everything you need to know when starting out — from mastering the combat system, learning how magic progression works, farming weapons, and defeating early bosses like the King Yeti.

Fairy Tail: Re is not your average Roblox RPG — it’s a skill-based combat game with parries, perfect blocks, combos, and advanced mobility mechanics. It’s designed for players who want challenge and mastery. The higher your skill, the stronger you’ll become.

1. Understanding the Combat System

Fairy Tail: Re uses timing-based combat built around parries, perfect blocks, and combo chaining.

Perfect Block (F)

Tap F at the exact moment an enemy’s attack connects.

A perfect block stops the attack completely and allows counterplay.

Overusing block without timing can lead to being broken — so rely on skill, not spam.

Parry (F + M1)

Press F and M1 simultaneously during an enemy’s combo to Parry.

Successful parries create a small black circle visual — that means it worked.

If you miss a parry, there’s a 5-second cooldown, so mistiming it can leave you vulnerable.

You can parry even while being comboed, making it a high-risk, high-reward defensive move.

Basic Attacks (M1 / M2)

M1: Standard attack combo chain.

M2: Heavy attack with higher knockback.

Aerial Up Tilt: Hold Space + M1 to launch enemies upward and extend combos.

Mastering the rhythm of blocking, parrying, and up-tilting separates new players from experts. This is why Fairy Tail: Re has a high skill ceiling.

2. Getting Started — Your First Steps

When you spawn in, you’ll have no magic and basic stats. Your first goal is to get magic and start leveling up.

Step 1: Learning Magic

Press M to open the Magic Menu.

Your first skill requires Level 5 and 5 Mana.

However, you’ll also need Magic Power — a separate resource required to unlock and use magical abilities.

Step 2: Gaining Magic Power

To gain Magic Power, you’ll need to meditate using a Meditation Crystal (buyable in shops).

When you meditate, colored orbs appear around you.

Click the orbs as they appear to speed up the process.

Each completed meditation gives Magic Power, which is needed for ranking up and unlocking spells.

3. Early Game Quests & Leveling

Once you have your basics set up, head toward the Quest Board in town. This is where you’ll start progressing through early missions.

Recommended Leveling Path

Level Quests & Enemies Notes
1–10 Outcasts, Garbage Pickup, Assassination, Punching Players Focus on low-level Outcasts around town. Each group has 3 enemies.
10–20 Infighters & Dark Wizards Unlocks after ranking up once. Infighters drop Strength weapons; Dark Wizards drop Mana weapons.
20–30 Dark Wizards, Yeti (26+), Grand Exp Books Fight Yetis for better EXP and Magic Power rewards.
30+ King Yeti, Queue Quests, Grand EXP Books Begin farming bosses for loot and Magic Power.

4. Weapons & Build Types

There are two main scaling types in Fairy Tail: Re — Strength Builds and Mana Builds.

Mana Weapons

Scale with Mana stat.

Examples: Soless, Ardor, Mirage.

Prioritize Magic Power and Mana.

More ability damage, less base M1 power.

Strength Weapons

Scale with Strength stat.

Examples: Katana, Greatsword, Rapier, Dagger, Incestus.

Deal higher M1 damage, but have lower mana pools.

Weapon Sources:

Infighters: Drop Strength weapons.

Dark Wizards: Drop Mana weapons.

Chests: Can contain rare or enhanced versions.

5. Recommended Stat Builds

Beginner Stat Setup

Level Stat Allocation
Level 10 20 Speed, 10 Mana, 10 Vitality
Level 20 20 Speed, 20 Mana, 40 Vitality

Once you hit Level 20, start focusing on your class build:

Mana Builds: Focus on Mana and Speed (avoid Strength).

Strength Builds: Focus on Strength and Vitality.

Universal Builds: Keep 20 Speed minimum for Flash Step (requires 20 Speed).

Stat Priorities

Speed: Always invest at least 20 to unlock dashes and mobility.

Vitality: Keep around 40–60; going higher offers diminishing returns.

Mana/Strength: Choose one main focus based on your weapon/magic.

6. Ranking Up

Ranking up increases your level cap and unlocks new quests.

Visit the Wizard Trainer (marked by a green chat bubble on your compass).

Requirements:

  • Magic Power (from Meditation & quests)
  • Renown (earned from PvP kills)
  • Level Requirement (every 10 levels)

Each rank-up expands your potential and unlocks new progression systems like Technique Specialties, Second Origin, and Race Progression later on.

7. Traveling to New Islands

At around level 20–25, you’ll want to leave the starter island.

Speak to the Shipwright at the docks to buy a boat.

Your next destination should be Hakobe Island.

Hakobe Island (Focus Training & Yeti Bosses)

Contains Yetis and King Yeti, your first major boss.

Set your spawn at Hakobe for 500 Yen to avoid losing progress.

Yetis drop Yeti Fur, which is needed to spawn King Yeti.

King Yeti Quest: Requires 3 Yeti Fur per summon.

Rewards large Magic Power (up to 10,000) and Money.

Best done in groups.

8. Guilds & Multiplayer

Joining a guild is one of the most important parts of Fairy Tail: Re.

  • Guilds provide allies for boss fights, PvP defense, and farming efficiency.
  • There are both Light and Dark Guilds, each offering unique social benefits.
  • Join through the official Discord or in-game applications.

The game’s world is built around player interaction — whether forming alliances or rivalries, guild play is what brings the endgame to life.

Fairy Tail: Re is a skill-based Roblox RPG where growth comes from mastering mechanics, not just grinding levels. The combat feels fluid, reactive, and punishing — but incredibly rewarding once you learn its depth.

Focus on precision, timing, and strategic stat allocation, and you’ll progress faster than most players. The early grind may feel tough, but once you unlock your first techniques, your gameplay will open up drastically.
