Step-by-step — reach Nessie’s Catacomb legitimately
1. Locate the Nessie statue
Head to the area of the map with the Nessie statue (the large lake monument). This is the entrance point to the catacombs once the statue has all required skulls placed.
Do not use map exploits or clipping glitches. Those can lead to bans and make guides unreliable.
2. Find and fish at the frightful poles
Around the map are special Frightful Poles in event locations. They come in different colors (the event uses a colored system).
You need to fish at poles to obtain Frightful Skulls. Each pole has a chance to yield a skull of that pole’s color when you fish at it.
The skull colors you must collect are: Red, Blue, Orange, Purple. (Some guides may refer to a “yellow” or slightly different palette depending on the event UI — stick to the four colors listed on the statue prompt.)
Practical fishing tips
Keep chat open for event spawn announcements (if the server announces spawns).
Fish repeatedly at a pole until you get the skull of that pole’s color. Poles usually have limited windows, so be ready.
If a pole’s color doesn’t match the skull you need, move to other poles — some poles spawn multiple colors at different times.
Team up with friends to cover poles across islands faster. If poles are limited, coordinate who fishes which one.
3. Place skulls on the Nessie statue
Once you have the four colored skulls (red, blue, orange, purple), return to the Nessie statue.
Interact with the statue and place each skull in its matching slot. The statue will react when all slots are filled.
When the last skull is placed the catacomb entrance unlocks.
4. Enter Nessie’s Catacomb and fish
Enter the revealed catacomb area and fish in the designated catacomb pool(s).
