Developer Note
“Small update but keeping to the bi-weekly consistent schedule. Working on larger updates in the background.”
While this patch focuses mainly on refinement, the devs have hinted that bigger updates — possibly new modes or expansions — are currently in development.
While Update #27 doesn’t add a new game mode or boss, it’s exactly what a good maintenance patch should be — focused, responsive, and community-driven. The Toji variants breathe new life into his kit, and the finisher additions are just the kind of visual flair fans enjoy.
If you main Toji or Yuta, this is a great patch to experiment with the new mechanics and refine your combos. It’s also a nice reminder that the dev team is still active and keeping the game fresh between major content drops.
