Weak Legacy 2 UPDATE 4.75 brings major changes to both combat and progression systems, with a full Insect Breathing Rework, a Reputation System overhaul, and a fresh batch of redeem codes. Whether you’re PvPing or grinding NPCs, here’s how to get the most out of the new mechanics.
Weak Legacy 2 UPDATE 4.75 – Insect Rework, New Codes
Insect Breathing Rework
The Insect breathing style has been reworked from the ground up, with adjusted movesets, effects, and likely some balance tuning.
What You Should Know:
- Skills and animations have been revamped (details vary per update).
- This breathing style may now scale better with Reputation stats (see below).
- Expect new meta potential in both PvP and PvE if built correctly.
If you previously had Insect breathing and things feel different, that’s because they are. Moves may now combo differently or scale with buffs you didn’t consider before. Experiment and re-learn.
Reputation System Rework
This is one of the biggest changes in the update, completely redefining how Reputation is earned, lost, and used.
Key Changes:
Reputation Cap increased to 50,000
First 25,000 Reputation: Can only be earned by defeating NPCs
Remaining 25,000 Reputation: Can only be earned by defeating real players
Losing to another player now reduces your Reputation
Killing players now increases your Reputation
Reputation now gives buffs:
- Increases HP
- Increases Damage
Reputation is now a true hybrid PvE + PvP stat. It rewards aggressive players who win fights and penalizes deaths. You’ll need to participate in PvP to reach the max bonus cap.
Important Note for Humans:
- You cannot earn Reputation until you have passed the Selection Exam.
- Make sure you’ve cleared that milestone before grinding for rep.
Best Way to Farm Reputation (Post-4.75)
Phase 1 – NPC Farming (0 to 25,000 Rep):
- Fight high-rep NPCs like Elite Demons or Strong Slayers
- Use AoE-heavy styles like Thunder, Wind, or Reworked Insect for fast clears
- Optimize builds with speed and sustain for NPC chain-kills
Phase 2 – PvP Farming (25,000 to 50,000 Rep):
- Focus on dueling weaker or unprepared players in contested zones
- Travel in groups if needed to secure kills
- Play smart — dying sets you back
Pro Tip: PvP farming will be extremely active right after this update. Farm early while others are still learning the patch.
What Reputation Buffs Actually Do
While exact scaling numbers may vary, here’s the general impact of high rep:
Reputation Amount | Buff Effect |
---|---|
0–10K | Minor stat boost (low) |
10K–25K | Medium HP and Damage buff |
25K–50K | High HP and Damage boost |
This system rewards long-term players who invest in both grinding and combat. Expect top players to be near the cap, especially in ranked or open world PvP.
Active Codes (As of Update 4.75)
Only the following new codes work. All old codes are now disabled.
- INSECTUPDERESETRACE
- 25SPINSINSECTUPD
- INSECTUPDRESETBREATHINGORART
Update Notes & Developer Message
