New PS+ Character: Senior Thukuna
By popular demand, the infamous boss is now a playable Private Server Plus (PS+) character, joining the likes of Super Senior Gojo. Thukuna features a compact, 4-move base-only kit with unique mechanics and strong area control.
Skill Breakdown
- Skill 1: Poly AI
Deploys one of three mobile AI variants that track a target. Each variant is countered differently, creating mind-game potential.
Requires a lock-on to activate. - Skill 2: World Cutting Slam
Launches upward before slamming down, dealing heavy AoE damage around the impact zone. Excellent for initiating fights or punishing grouped enemies. - Skill 3: American Fuga
A high-impact variant of the original Fuga. Expect big damage and disruption with exaggerated flair. - Skill 4: Benevolent Shrine
Thukuna’s ultimate move. Ironically named, it’s a lethal attack disguised in kindness. Wide hitbox, strong finisher.

Heavenbound Base Rework & Variants
Heavenbound has received one of its largest mechanical overhauls to date, with a focus on complexity, timing, and high-skill expression. The kit now feels more responsive and complete thanks to polished interactions and added variant abilities.
New Skill Variants Added
- Sky Splitter (Soul Split Katana – Skill 4)
A refined version of Skill 4 that fits aggressive combo chains and quick finishers. - Coiling Dragon (Playful Cloud – Skill 4)
Offers a snappier, more punishing variant for aggressive zoning or follow-up pressure. - Playful Cloud (Skill 3 Variant)
An additional layer of skill depth in the mid-slot, allowing for more flexible combat styles.
Design Philosophy
Heavenbound is intended to be a mechanically demanding base that rewards players who can manage input timing, combos, and ability swaps efficiently. This patch brings the base much closer to that vision, while smoothing out gameplay fluidity.
Spawn Animations Added
New cinematic intro animations have been added to several characters, enhancing visual polish and immersion:

These spawn intros play at the start of rounds and add flair to character selection.
General Changes and Balance Adjustments
- Counters now properly trigger on many abilities, especially those used by Cursed Fist.
- Heavenbound Air Skill 2: Now removes ragdoll from targets on hit.
- Mobile UI Update: Buttons now display input priority.
- Fuga Explosion Volume: Reduced for audio clarity.
- Shikigami Slam: Stun duration nerfed to improve counterplay.
- Domain Activation Time: Now standardized across all characters for fairness.
- Heavenbound Trail Visuals: Trail effect now only appears during swings (cleaner visuals).
Fixes and QoL Improvements
- Projectile Multi-Hit Issue: Fixed for more consistent damage output.
- Heavenbound + CE Mode Conflict: Equipping fists now disables Cursed Energy Mode properly.
- Supercuts Teleport Bug: Resolved – no more instant teleports out of domains.
- Lock-On and Cutscene Bugs: Patched for smoother targeting during cinematic transitions.
- Ragdolls Reworked: Improved physics and smoother knockback animations.
