The Ghoul BattlePass Update has dropped in Arise Crossover, and it’s one of the biggest patches the game has received. With new Shadows, a powerful HGM weapon, universal tokens, and massive improvements to Castle, Guilds, and Dungeons — this update changes how you progress, farm, and build your loadouts.

Whether you’re a daily grinder or just logging back in, here’s everything you need to know.

Arise Crossover GHOUL Battlepass Update – Codes, HGM+

The BattlePass now extends up to Level 110, packed with premium and free rewards. At the top, you’ll unlock powerful items and exclusive cosmetics:

Ghoul Reaper Title
Increases Shadow drop rate. Best in slot for Shadow farming.

3 HGM+ Shadows
These new units are top-tier. All three offer huge boosts in Shadow setups and can carry you through high-end content.

1 New Weapon: Dove Scythe (HGM Tier)
A rare white-glow scythe that looks impressive and has strong synergy with Shadow builds.

3 Mounts
Includes a massive serpent and a dragon. Both are unlocked through Special Tokens, one of which is free at Level 110.

New Crafting Options
Old BattlePass items (like Mage Pass) are now craftable, making it easier to catch up on missed content.

Note: Content creators receive Premium access automatically, but regular players will need to unlock it through play or purchase.

Dove Scythe – Weapon Analysis

The Dove Scythe is the featured HGM weapon in this update.

  • Raw Damage (No Potion): Around 1 Octillion
  • With Full Shadow Setup: Up to 20 Octillion
  • Best Crystals:
Equip with Crimson Amethyst — each gives +15% Shadow Power
Full set boosts Shadow Damage by 95%

The scythe underperforms in raw stats alone, but when slotted into a Shadow build with proper crystals, it becomes one of the strongest weapons available.

New Shadows – What You Need to Know

Three HGM+ Shadows are unlocked via the Ghoul BattlePass.

All three are highly efficient for dungeon clearing and scaling shadow damage.

If you’re running a Shadow build, these should become your new core units.

They’re also ideal for content like Solo Leveling, Infinite Castle, and the new GM Relic grind.

Mounts – Dragon and Serpent

Two new mounts are introduced:

  • Serpent: Large model, but its visuals are debatable
  • Dragon: Better visual quality and worth showing off

Both are locked behind Special Tokens, with at least one token free at Level 110 in the BattlePass. These mounts are cosmetic for now, but worth collecting for future updates.

Mode Tokens – Universal Token System

A huge quality-of-life improvement.

  • Mode Tokens now drop from:
    • Castle
    • Desert
    • Infinite Castle
    • Storm Events
  • Use: Exchange for almost any Gacha pool except:
    • Kaiju Gacha
    • Solo Leveling Gacha

The goal is to reduce RNG fatigue. You can now farm any mode and work toward the Gacha pulls you want.

Developer has acknowledged the need for exchanges on Kaiju and Solo Leveling, so expect improvements soon.

Desert Dungeon Checkpoints

  • Checkpoints every 30 Waves
    • Your team must have reached the wave previously to use the checkpoint
    • Resetting from checkpoints increases the ticket cost
  • Why it matters:
    • Makes farming late Desert waves easier
    • Great for Relic Farming, Leaderboard Pushes, or Expeditions

However, if you’re farming from scratch, Wave 1 still gives better overall token rewards.

Infernal Castle Speed Controls

A long-requested feature is finally here: Speed Options inside Castle

  • Choose between 1x, 2x, and 4x speed
  • Affects:
    • Battle speed
    • Potion consumption
    • Timer countdown

When to Use It

  • During gem farming or when you’re already past your run-up floor
  • Do not use 4x on early runs — it wastes potions and shortens your clear window

Cooldown Note: You can only change Castle speed once every 60 seconds, so plan ahead. If you accidentally start at 4x on Floor 1, exit and wait out the cooldown before trying again.

Progression Updates

  • Max Level Raised: 650
  • Max Stats Raised: 500

XP grinding is faster than ever thanks to boosted potion drops, dungeons, and high XP quests. Don’t forget to equip potions during any dungeon run.

Guild System Improvements

  • Max Players: Increased from 95 to 110
  • Shadow Boost: Now goes up to 220
  • Weapon Damage Boost: Also increased to 220

More members and stronger buffs make guild progression more rewarding. Make sure your guild is upgrading these nodes to stay competitive.

New Upgraders – Non-RNG Progression

Upgraders are new systems that allow direct stat upgrades without relying on Gacha RNG.

Kaiju Upgrader

  • Location: Kaiju City
  • Currency: Kaiju Tokens
  • Upgrades: Shadow and Weapon Damage

Leveling Upgrader

  • Location: Leveling City
  • Currency: Leveling Tokens
  • Upgrades: Shadow and Weapon Damage

This is a major shift in endgame design. Some dungeons now favor Upgraders over Gacha, making progression more predictable and grind-based.

Relic System Update

  • GM Relics Added:
    • Extremely powerful endgame upgrades
    • Cost: 2000+ common dust and 12 ores per upgrade
  • UGM+ Weapons:
    • Upgraded versions of existing HGM gear
    • Strongest weapons currently available

Be prepared for a long grind — these upgrades are not cheap but are well worth the effort.

Token System Changes

  • Token Drop Rate Increased:
    • Now drops 2–5 instead of 1–3 per source
  • Storm Events: Now drop tokens as well
  • Token Runes: Still active and useful

This makes general progression smoother across all zones and encourages participation in events.

Redeemable Codes

Use these in-game to redeem free rewards:

  • GHOULPASS
  • DESERTCHECK

These codes typically reward XP potions, tokens, or currency. Redeem them in the settings menu under the “Codes” tab.
