How It Works
Activates when you use a page with the same status effect as the last page used.
You can stack up to 5 Resonance.
When maxed, stacks reset to 0 but grant:
- A temporary dice buff.
- A large boost to emotion level.
While active, each Resonance stack provides:
- A small damage multiplier.
- A small boost to emotion points.
Resonance rewards consistent playstyles, rewarding you for chaining pages with similar status effects.
Sin Vestiges
New collectible items tied to the Sin system.
Come in 5 tiers:
- Dark
- Faint
- Twinkling
- Brilliant
- Lunar
Current Uses
- Right now, Sin Vestiges are used in Singularity Crafting.
- In future updates, they’ll also be used to craft EGO Gifts.
Vestige Caches
- Certain bosses now drop Sin Vestige Caches, based on the Sin they embody.
- Opening a cache grants 3–5 random vestiges of any tier.
Absolute Sin Bosses
- Found via Fragmented Self in the L Corp Branch.
- Defeating them deactivates the tool and returns you to your previous location.
- Each boss embodies one of the Seven Sins:
- Wrath, Desire, Sloth, Gluttony, Gloom, Pride, Envy.
Singularity Crafting
- Still the centerpiece of progression.
- Requires unique dungeon drops + Sin Vestiges.
- The newly added Manifested Armor Singularity guarantees highest roll stats and comes with powerful buffs.
Stagger System Refresh
Stagger has been reworked with scaling severity:
- Stagger: +25% damage taken.
- Stagger+: +50% damage taken.
- Stagger++: +75% damage taken.
Additional change:
Being staggered now applies Concussion (30s).
If you stagger again while concussed, your stagger level advances to the next tier.
Other Additions
Reworked Red Eyes (new visuals).
Heavy map optimizations for much better FPS.
You can now see party member HP and stamina, making coordination easier.
Balance Changes
Pages
Grovel Before Me, Pathetic One / Go… Go Away…!: Blood gain now on second hit.
Purify: Increased windup.
Level Slash: Dice rolls reduced (slightly weaker).
Red Kick: Final hit now knocks back.
Weight of Knowledge: Sinking condition 15 → 8.
Illuminate Thy Vacuity: Sinking condition 20 → 6, inflicted sinking reduced 7 → 6.
Ignite Weaponry:
- Cost raised to 1, cooldown reduced to 75, duration extended to 25.
- Gains brief hyper armor on windup.
- Knocks back on initial hit.
- Burn synergy improved for Liu pages.
Will of the City: Decreased windup, shorter counter frames, cooldown doubled (20 → 40).
Vengeance Retaliation: Cost lowered (2 → 1).
Upstanding Slash: Cost lowered (3 → 2).
Fleet Footsteps: Cost reduced to 0, cooldown 60 → 40.
Weapons
Brutish Brawler: Crit timing adjusted, hyper armor delayed, animation cancels fixed.
Dragon’s Bite: Damage reduced, dice rolls lowered, ragdoll time adjusted.
Eye Gouger: Last hit now knocks back.
Hardblood Staff: Critical rolls reduced, max roll lowered.
Pointilist’s Brush: Lower crit damage multiplier.
Hardblood Blade: Reduced swing speed + lower crit damage.
Hardblood Whip: Only final dice is unparryable.
Blooming Staff & Roseate Desire: Reduced swing speed.
Kurokumo Katana / Gilded: Swing delays slightly increased.
Liu Guan Dao: Damage reduced (7 → 6).
