The newest update to Type Soul introduced a fresh and exciting element—Bio, also known as the “Perfect Cell” element. Inspired by the menacing design of Cell from Dragon Ball Z, this form completely changes your character’s appearance and moveset, giving you devastating combos and flashy abilities.
Here’s a complete Type Soul The New Perfect Cell (Bio) Element Guide of how Bio works, what its moves do, and why it’s worth trying out.
Type Soul The New Perfect Cell (Bio) Element Guide
When you unlock Bio, your character undergoes a full transformation:
You gain a tail, wings, and a darkened grayish aura, making you look like a true bio-engineered monster.
It comes with its own custom set of special abilities, combo potential, and crit mechanics, all with relatively short cooldowns.
Currently, Bio is still a work-in-progress element with no saguna (secondary form) available, but even in this state, it’s a powerful option for PvP.
Bio’s Move Set (Abilities Breakdown)
Bio has multiple abilities tied to different keys. Each one offers high combo potential and can chain into another move seamlessly.
Z – Quick Slash Teleport
- Executes a fast slash and then instantly teleports away.
- Great for hit-and-run tactics or starting combos.
X – Tracking Laser
- Fires a laser beam that homes in on the enemy.
- Useful for punishing movement-heavy players and keeping pressure from mid-range.
C – Energy Beam / Soul Drain
- Bio has two versions of this depending on context:
- Beam Blast: Fires a charged-up beam that knocks enemies back after teleporting behind them.
- Crit Soul Drain: Your character absorbs the enemy’s soul, dealing heavy damage.
- This ability is a major combo finisher, often setting up or closing out fights.
V – Quick Slash Combo
- A flurry of multiple rapid slashes.
- Can chain directly after Z or C to extend your damage window.
B – Super Move (Combo Starter/Finisher)
- Delivers a powerful burst-style strike that works well to begin or end combos.
- Can combo into C (soul drain) for huge payoff.
How Strong Is Bio Right Now?
- Combo Potential: Extremely high. Bio’s abilities are designed to chain one after another with very little downtime. You can easily string Z → V → C → B into a devastating sequence.
- Cooldowns: Surprisingly short compared to other elements, letting you cycle moves quickly.
- Range Mix: Bio has both melee (slashes, soul drain) and ranged options (tracking laser, beam blast). This makes it versatile in duels.
- Visual Flair: The transformation alone makes it one of the most stylish elements in the game.
The only current limitation is that Bio has no saguna form yet, so it may not scale as well as other elements long-term until the devs finish fleshing it out.
Should You Get Bio?
If you’re someone who:
- Enjoys fast-paced combos,
- Wants a flashy, intimidating form,
- Or simply loves Dragon Ball-inspired content,
…then Bio is 100% worth grabbing. Even though it’s unfinished, its current toolkit is already strong enough to dominate in PvP.
The Bio element is a unique addition to Type Soul, giving players a transformation that looks incredible and feels fluid in battle. While it doesn’t yet have saguna, its current kit offers short cooldowns, strong combo tools, and flashy animations that make it stand out from most other elements.
