The newest Slap Battles update has landed, bringing in two powerful gloves, a complete rework for Ultra Instinct, and even a surprise buff to the Sleep glove. On top of that, new codes are available for players to redeem. Here’s everything you need to know.
Slap Battles Retribution & Architect Gloves Update – New Codes
How to get Retribution Glove
- Power: 50–80
- Speed: 15–17
- Abilities: Victim’s Judgment (E) and Forgive and Forget (R)
The Retribution glove is a tricky one. Its kit revolves around judgment mechanics that are still a little unclear, but from early testing it seems to apply a punishment effect that may sacrifice or turn against the user if conditions aren’t met. While not yet fully understood, it’s designed to be a high-risk, high-reward glove for players willing to experiment.
How to get Architect Glove
- Power: 55
- Speed: 16
- Ability: Evil Box (E)
The Architect glove is much more straightforward. Its ability creates a dark box around enemies, trapping them until they are eliminated. It’s an instant lockout tool that can swing fights quickly. However, players should be careful because mistiming the box can trap themselves just as easily as their opponents.
Ultra Instinct Mastery Rework
Ultra Instinct has been overhauled to function with a new dodge meter. Here’s how it works:
- Each quest counter grants +3% dodge chance.
- Each slap grants +1% dodge chance.
- Dodge chance drains over time at 0.4% per second, but only after six seconds of not slapping anyone.
- The cap is set at 70% dodge chance.
- At 65% or more, the user gains the Goku aura.
- The E ability now requires at least 60% dodge chance to activate. If you don’t meet the requirement, you’ll see a message saying your instincts aren’t strong enough.
- Using the E ability removes all extra dodge chance.
This rework makes Ultra Instinct far more dynamic and balanced, rewarding players who stay active in combat.
Sleep Glove Buff
The Sleep glove can now roll while resting. The roll begins very slowly but accelerates the longer it continues. Since there’s no cap on the speed, players can potentially roll endlessly if they maintain it, opening up some creative and chaotic gameplay moments.
New Codes
Two fresh codes have been added with this update:
- retribution
- architect
Redeem them in-game while they remain active.
This update adds depth to Slap Battles in a few different ways. Retribution introduces a mysterious judgment mechanic, Architect provides a brutal control tool, Ultra Instinct feels more refined with its new dodge system, and Sleep is now less passive thanks to its rolling mechanic.
