Trash Tier
These swords are only really helpful if you’re brand new. Damage is low, cooldowns are clunky, and they don’t scale well.

Still weak overall, but slightly more usable than Trash tier. Most have either low damage or mediocre AoE.

- Toji’s Sword – bad damage, okay AoE.
- Escanor’s Axe – bad damage, mid AoE.
- Asen Sword – bad damage, bad AoE.
- Gut Sword – bad damage, good AoE.
- True Ichigo Sword – bad damage, good AoE.
- Sid – bad damage, mid AoE.
- Okuta – bad damage, good AoE.
C Tier
Average swords that deal okay damage and often come with useful buffs or decent AoE. Good mid-level options.
- Cosmic Asen – solid AoE, average damage.
- Shanks – good AoE, average damage.
- Wukong – poor AoE, average damage.
- King of Hell Zoro – decent AoE, okay damage.
- Oxid – good AoE, okay damage.
- Yorichi – good AoE, okay damage.
- Kokushibo – good AoE, okay damage.
- Asta – weak damage, mid AoE.
B Tier
Strong enough to be reliable for farming and dungeons, especially when upgraded with potential.
- Tibai (Double Asen +5 Potential) – good damage, good AoE.
- Alia (Level 0) – good damage, good AoE.
- Asta Devil – good damage, excellent AoE.
- Madara – good damage, good AoE.
- Kenpachi – decent damage, good AoE.

- Goku Black Rose – decent damage, amazing AoE.
A Tier
Extremely strong swords with high damage and AoE that fit well into almost any build.
- Soul of Cinder – amazing damage, mid AoE.
- True Yoru – amazing damage, excellent AoE.
- Coyote Stark (Segunda) – amazing damage, excellent AoE.
- Ultimate Escanor – very strong damage, excellent AoE.
- Super Tapa Tengen (+5 Potential) – very strong damage, excellent AoE.
S Tier
Among the best swords in the game. Excellent balance of raw power and AoE coverage.
- Kratos – excellent damage, good AoE.
- Mumen – excellent damage, excellent AoE.
- Nero – extremely high damage, good AoE.
- Virgil – extremely high damage, excellent AoE.
- Dante – amazing damage, amazing AoE.
If you’re starting out, most of the Trash and D tier swords are stepping stones only. Once you get into B and A tier, swords like Goku Black Rose, True Yoru, and Ultimate Escanor will carry you far in both PvE and PvP. The true chase weapons, however, are Awakened Virgil, Awakened Guts, and Awakened Dante, which sit comfortably at the top of the meta.
