The Tennis Zero Take Over Update has landed, bringing a fresh twist to the game’s meta with a new competitive system, solo and guild-based quests, and a limited-time gamemode called Splash Court. Whether you’re a solo player aiming for event-exclusive items or a guild competitor fighting to control genre zones, this update offers something for everyone.

In this guide, you’ll find a full breakdown of every event mechanic, available quests, new content, and active codes — along with instructions on how to unlock everything before the event ends.

What Is The Takeover Event?

The Takeover Event is a limited-time competitive event that features both solo and team-based gameplay progression. Players can complete individual quests to unlock badges and cosmetic rewards or join a guild to battle over zone control in different game genres.

Your contributions—whether individual or guild-based—impact your standing on the event leaderboard, which ranks players and guilds by activity and zone captures. Capturing zones means your guild has outperformed others in a specific game mode, and holding multiple zones shows your dominance across the event.

Even if you’re not in a guild, you can still complete solo quests, earn badges, and unlock exclusive avatar items throughout the event.

Event End Date

The Takeover Event will run until September 22, after which all exclusive quests, content, and codes will expire. Rewards must be claimed before that date.

Takeover Quests: How to Unlock All Badges

All event badges are tied to the Splash Court gamemode. Completing the following four quests will unlock their respective event badges:

  1. Hit 50 rally hits in Splash Court
  2. Use Safety Net Flow three times in Splash Court
  3. Paint a total of 250% coverage in Splash Court
  4. Win three matches in Splash Court gamemode

These tasks can be completed over multiple matches. Progress is automatically tracked in the event interface, and rewards are unlocked as soon as the requirements are met.

Splash Court Gamemode – How It Works

Splash Court is a brand-new limited-time mode created specifically for the Takeover Event. This gamemode transforms traditional gameplay into a paint-based battle.

Your objective is simple:
Bounce the ball on your opponent’s side to paint their court. The first player to reach 100% paint coverage wins the match.

It combines high-speed rally mechanics with strategic positioning, since your hits now directly affect the percentage coverage of your opponent’s side.

New Map: Graffiti Court

All Splash Court matches take place on the Graffiti Court, a brand-new arena styled with neon graffiti, urban textures, and high-contrast visuals to complement the chaotic energy of the Takeover Event.

This map is exclusive to the Splash Court gamemode and may be removed once the event ends, making it a temporary battleground for quest progress and rewards.

Updated Takeover Lobby

The game’s main lobby has also received a visual overhaul. It’s now filled with graffiti, urban art, and Takeover-themed decorations to match the theme of the event. This is where you can access:

  • Event quest progress
  • Code redemption
  • Guild info and leaderboard
  • Splash Court entrance

Returning Styles (Limited-Time Availability)

Two legacy playstyles have returned during the Takeover Event. These are available for a limited time and can be acquired through Style Spins or in-game rewards.

Thunder Style
This style is lightning-fast and built around rapid, precise hits. If used correctly, it can end exchanges before your opponent even has time to react.

Sun Child Style
A style themed around fiery, radiant power. Each hit leaves behind a visual trail of light and sparks. It’s perfect for players who favor aggressive, momentum-based play.

Both styles will likely be removed again once the event ends, so unlock them while you can.

Takeover Event Codes

Two exclusive codes have been released to support players during the event. Redeem these from the in-game code menu to receive powerful rewards instantly:

TAKEOVER
Grants 100,000 Yen and a free Seal Racket

SLAYERS
Gives 100 Lucky Flow and Style Spins

These rewards can be used immediately to unlock gear, styles, and rerolls that will help you complete your quests faster.
