Anime Crusaders is a brand-new tower defense game that just dropped, and with early access, we’ve had time to test most of the key units. This tier list focuses only on Mythic and Secret units—plus a few support legendaries that are essential. We’ll break them into Meta, Great, and Support categories based on how they actually perform in real matches.
If you’re aiming to build a strong team early on, this guide will walk you through which units are truly worth upgrading, and which ones you can skip.
Anime Crusaders Tier List Guide (Mythic & Secret Units)
Support and Farm Units
Speed Cart (Epic) – Only farm unit available. You need this every game.
A (Legendary) – Reduces cost and boosts stats for all nearby units. Strong support, similar to AA/Erwin.
Shanks (Mythic) – Stuns enemies and deals bonus damage to low-health targets. Pairs especially well with Sid.
Gojo (Mythic) – Focuses on stuns and time stops. Useful for freezing time during late waves.
Meta Hybrid Units
Broly (Secret) – Stacking AoE damage that ramps up. Becomes hybrid at max upgrade. Extremely consistent.
Ghetto (Mythic) – Summoner. Doesn’t attack directly but his summons hit air and ground. Great utility.
Enel (Mythic) – Starts hybrid and deals massive bonus damage to enemies affected by CC (freeze, slow, stun).
Sid (Secret) – High damage but relies on stunned enemies. Needs Shanks on your team to reach full potential.
Law (Secret) – Straightforward but powerful hybrid unit. No passives, just solid water-type DPS.
Meta Ground Units
Sung Jin Woo (Secret) – Top of the ground meta. Summons units and scales his own damage with each one.
Toi (Mythic) – Stacks bleed, crit, and true damage. The longer a target lives, the more damage he does.
Buu (Mythic) – Gains power from kills in range. Can perform clone attacks when charged.
Hyen (Mythic) – Marks enemies to increase damage taken and deals big burst every fifth hit.
Slime (Mythic) – Deals huge devour damage every 90 seconds and buffs itself on kills.
Igris (Secret) – Pairs with Sung Jin Woo. Without him, Igris underperforms. With him, he’s a powerhouse.
Ichigo (Mythic) – Strong typing but clunky due to transform/untransform mechanic. Outclassed by simpler units.
Meta Hill Units
Super Saiyan 3 Goku (Mythic) – Great scaling hill unit. Builds up stored damage and releases in bursts.
Chonin (Mythic) – Hill unit with burn effect. Deals extra damage to frozen enemies. Weaker than Goku, but usable.
Great Tier Units
Hayi (Battle Pass Mythic) – High burst potential but heavily reliant on timing and setup.
Ant King (Mythic) – Basic ground DPS with no passives. Fine early game but falls off quickly.
Bonus Early Game Picks (Legendaries)
These are not meta long-term, but great to get started:
Rukia – Reliable freeze support
Gray Beard – Full AoE slow, good for early waves
Kohichi – Superior slow to Blackbeard
Frieza – Basic air support if you lack a mythic hill unit
