Anime Card Clash Update 3.5 – Codes, Card Crafting, Towers

The 3.5 update for Anime Card Clash just dropped, and it’s massive! New towers, upgraded battle mechanics, powerful limited cards, a card crafting system, and an entirely reworked Infinite Tower structure make this the most important patch yet. Let’s dive into every major addition and system change.

Anime Card Clash Update 3.5 – Codes, Card Crafting, Towers

New Battle Towers Added

Four new elemental towers are here, each with unique mechanics and insane difficulty:

1. Frozen Landscape Tower

  • Opponent uses 6 cards
  • 20% chance to freeze one of your cards every round
  • Cards with Ice, Frost, Undead in the name are immune
  • Rewards: Challenge Orbs, Checkpoint Keys

2. Inferno Depth Tower

  • Opponent uses 6 cards
  • 20% chance to burn your cards each round
  • Fire, Flame, Magma cards are immune
  • Opponent survives first 4 attacks with 1 HP (tanky fights!)

3. Lunar Eclipse Tower

  • Debuffs cycle by -25%
  • 35% chance to disable your attack & super skill each round
  • Enemies can revive once with 75% HP
  • Opponent gains +5% attack each round (snowballing threat)

4. Bell Tower

  • Linked to quest and story progression
  • Tied to the new Luck Index and limited-time relics

Challenge Items & Crafting System

Two new core items were added:

  • Challenge Orb: Dropped from new towers and used in crafting
  • Checkpoint Key: Lets you skip floors in Infinite Tower modes
    • Start at every 50/100 floors (depending on mode)
    • Obtainable via: Challenge Towers, Crafting, Purchases

Benefits:

  • No more starting at Floor 1!
  • Much easier to target milestone floors or clear quests

Card Crafting & Relics

The new Crafting System allows players to use Challenge Orbs and tower drops to:

  • Craft Relics (expected in future updates)
  • Unlock Tower-specific gear
  • Build new high-rarity cards (including limiteds)

Battle System Overhaul

This update fundamentally reworks card mechanics:

  • Cards can now have multiple skills
  • Skills can be modified mid-battle
  • Huge buff to overall strategy and combo depth

Max Stat Cap Increases:

  • Max Card Level ➝ 750
  • Best Luck Upgrade ➝ 1500
  • Base PR Luck Buff ➝ 2% (was 1%)

New Luck Index & Display

  • Prestige Luck now properly scales (e.g. 22% instead of 11%)
  • Display UI shows exact values across builds
  • Crafting buffs (like Light Fruit) add bonus Luck stats

Example: With full setup, you can hit 428+ Luck, boosted even more with limited buffs or moon cycles.

New Fruits (Buff Items)

These function like stat gear or passive items:

  • Ice Fruit: Tied to freeze mechanics
  • Magma Fruit: Works with burn synergy
  • Light Fruit: +50 Luck (great for gacha pulls or rare drops)

Infinite Tower Revamp

Massive QoL upgrades:

  • Use Checkpoint Keys to skip to floor 50/100
  • One Challenge Key is consumed per Infinite Tower run
  • You can now adjust pause delay timers and hide UI buttons for smoother runs

New Cards Introduced

Ice Admiral

  • Entry: 125% AoE damage + Freeze (1 turn)
  • Low HP Effect: Summons an Iceberg that deals 75% to current + 50% to next target
  • 20% chance to freeze both
  • Immune to Freeze

Magma Admiral

  • Entry: 1–3 Magma Fist hits (85% each)
  • Low HP Effect: Summons Magma Hound (85%/60% damage + burn)
  • Immune to Burn

Light Admiral (Awakened)

  • Entry: Fires 5–15 light orbs (10% each to 2 enemies)
  • Dodge Chance: 35%, with 2x counterattacks at 60%
  • Strong base stats, but underwhelming AoE spread

Limited & Special Cards

Last Avenger (Limited)

  • Entry: 200% damage + 13D Stun
  • Reflects all burn attempts at 50%
  • Perfect for Inferno Depth Tower

Flame Outlaw Ace

  • Entry: 100% direct + 25% Burn to all enemies
  • Converts all burns into healing (not above max HP)
  • Only one Flame Outlaw’s entry effect can trigger per team
  • Amazing synergy with Fire-themed decks

Shadow Grand Marshal

  • Counterattacks after every enemy attack
  • At <75% HP: 60% chance to summon 2 Elite Shadow Knights
    • Each with 50% stats and original skills
    • Summon only triggers once per battle

Misc Fixes & Tweaks

  • Skill descriptions removed in Story Tower (cleaner UI)
  • Fixed:
    • Stun/freeze immunity bugs
    • Dimensional Domain now lasts 1 turn (was 2)
    • Loyalty buff issues
    • Bugged dodge animations
    • Tor Maiden / Clock / Jojut skill behaviors
